Compact Pattern Digitising
iDigit Lite is a compact, space saving pattern digitizing system that comprises of the following components:

The magnetic iDigit board can be easily mounted on any wall, thus requiring no floor space and no pre-calibration. The calibration-free nature of iDigit allows you to take pictures with a hand held camera or mobile phone which makes it extremely easy to install, use and relocate if needed.
Our Software
Our software is equipped with an extensive set of functions that allow making edits, additions to the patterns and even creating new ones from scratch just like you do in any CAD program, with the comfort of having the picture of your original patterns in the background as a guide, instead of having to refer back to the physical pattern.

These features include automatic detection of notches, drill holes and cutouts, as well as complementary functions such as pattern smoothing, seam lines, shrinking/enlarging patterns, mirroring, rotation, fusing, spline & arc manipulation, custom shape library and more. This eliminates dependency on complementary programs, or if you already have other CAD programs, having the extra option to choose which program to use for which function gives you the extra peace of mind.

iDigit can export patterns in various formats, including Aama Dxf, General Dxf, Svg, Hpgl and Pdf, which can be customized in terms of layer structure. You can even copy-paste your patterns from iDigit directly into Illustrator, without saving any files. Compatibiltiy with your existing CAD/CAM software and machinery is guaranteed, which ensures a streamlined integration with your existing design & production process.
Our Board
Our unique board is designed for maximum accuracy and ease of use. It provides a matt surface for obtaining ideal contrast between the patterns and background, which improves the digitization accuracy. It is magnet-receptive, so that patterns can be fixed on the board easily using the provided magnets, instead of using masking tape or other impractical methods.

Last but not least, the precisely printed circles along the edges of the iDigit board allow the iDigit software to do its number crunching for correcting optical distortions and producing precise digitizing results. This key feature allows iDigit to adapt to any environment in terms of how the board and camera are utilized.
Make It Your Own
We know that each customer’s digitizing requirements are unique, just like their office, studio, workshop or atelier which they use for their CAD/CAM operations such as digitizing, designing and cutting templates, and ultimately putting them together to manufacture the final product.

iDigit’s board can be customized in different aspects for fitting these requirements:

Size: Although the standard iDigt Lite board size is 150x120 cm (gross outer size), it can be made smaller, or larger depending on the application. For instance, if the patterns are very small, the 90x60cm board would be a better option. By default the iDigit boards come in one piece, however if portability is required, they can be provided in two halves. In this case they can be carried around and used as a mobile digitizing unit if off-site digitization is necessary.

Colour: iDigit board comes in two colour options, which are black and white. The choice would be made according to the template colour for ensuring the optimal contrast is achieved.​

Installation: The standard and most frequent way an iDigit Lite board is installed is the wall-mounted option. However other installation types are possible, such as laying the board on a table or even floor.

The camera (or mobile phone) can be either held in hand, fixed on a tripod or on a monopod mounted on a wall or ceiling.
